This is something we’ve seen time and time again. Through the programmes we’ve delivered and our collaborations with diverse communities across Waikato and Aotearoa - from creatives in South Waikato, to those championing climate action, to some of the country’s most renowned social entrepreneurs - we’ve witnessed how transformative ideas can flourish when given the chance.
One of the most valuable lessons we've learned is this: when people are equipped with the right tools and resources, they create their own solutions to the pressing challenges they face.
Communities are brimming with potential and wisdom, and when we empower the people within them, extraordinary things happen.
That's why we're so thrilled to reveal Impact 100 initiative - a bold new initiative designed to unlock the potential of local changemakers by breaking down barriers to entrepreneurship and social impact.
What is Impact 100?
Put simply, it's a collective giving movement.
We're looking for 100 individuals to each donate $100 to Impact Hub’s Charitable Foundation. Together, these contributions will create a $10,000 fund to support local changemakers with:
Seed funding for innovative ideas.
Scholarships to access our personal and professional development programmes.
Other financial assistance to grow their missions and impact.
How does it work?
You can make a one-time donation of $100.
Choose your impact area - whether it’s a South Waikato kaupapa, climate action, youth empowerment, or another focus close to your heart. Your contribution will directly support a local changemaker in your chosen area.
This will create lasting impact locally, with every dollar you give, you're helping an aspiring local leader bring their vision to life.
This initiative is about breaking down barriers to entrepreneurship, and ensuring innovation and social impact are accessible to all.
Too often, access to entrepreneurship, innovation, and impactful programs is limited to those with the financial means. Impact 100 seeks to change that by levelling the playing field.

Impact 100 is a vehicle for systemic change.
By pooling resources, we can create a ripple effect. When we equip passionate leaders with the skills, resources, and networks they need, their work strengthens communities, drives innovative solutions, and inspires others to join in - laying the groundwork for long-term transformation.
